your pictures are excellent as usual (geographically accurate even!) but the "water" is particularly good.

Thank you - yes, learning by doing. The water is a clear and shiny kitchen wrap, with a dark olive shirt below. Somehow I got a lot of light reflexes (also from the poster backgrounds), and this adds much to the realism. I also paid more attention to "sculpting" waves from the thin foil, just a little photo editing was done around the waterline around the hull, because the kit would not "sink" too deeply into the shirt/foil cushion. But it looks good - especially on the harbor scene with the crane, ship and halls in the background. Finding a good perspective and horizon line are vital, too, though.
