Rural folks are inventive. This cropduster was built by an intrepid Canadian who married various WW2 surplus components to build a machine that helped earn his living.

This is the old-tool kit with the Gypsy motor chopped-off.

I built a firewall and added an Aeroclub white metal Kinner R-5 radial and propeller. I faired over the front cockpit, added bigger "bush" wheels, and fabricated spay-bars from thin plastic rod.

The decals were added, one letter at a time, from scraps in the spares-box. It is brush-painted Pollyscale Soviet Brown #2.

I am really pleased with the results.

In Soviet Canada, Brown asks "orange you glad to see me?"

I'm sorry, I had to say something.

Top job! I'm surprised I've not seen any real radial Tigers before. It looks a lot like a Polikarpov Po-2 with that five-cylinder up front. I love the spray bars, they look OOB! Top job.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
