Good bit of flying that. I've been aboard that Merchantman at Brooklands and never realised they FLEW it in!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Vanguard-Merchantman used four Tynes, 1.5 times as much power as a T-56, or whatever Allison called it in civvie guise.

The Tyne's a big bruiser of a turbo-prop.  :o
