Under construction projects

As a test to find out how to share pictures in the posting, here some under construction projects i'm working on.

At first the Dorand Gyrodyne. A French experimental high performance autogyro from the early 1950-ies and successor of the Dorand G II:

This is a picture of the smaller projects. Wait i'm still missing three.....

These pictures were posted previous, but it's still a project. This is the Antonov большое торговое судно (or Argosy). Every now and then i pick it up. But other project ar just easier to complete, so the work on the Antonovs stops again. Still love it, but it's simply such a large beast and a lot of work! I'm including three assault tanks to create a sort of diorama but discovered i'm not good in tanks...

Do you mean it's not real?  It's right in the line of late forties french projects!
And the Argosantonov is a BEAST. I hope you continue it and explain the parts used etc.
BTW, 63CPE, you use an antique writing desk with leather inlay as a WORKBENCH??

And yes. The workbench is an (semi) antique writing desk..very handy with two small drawers and lots of vertical and horizontal storage places.

Sure I will post pictures of the Antonov when progress is made. At this moment it's built out of two Antonov-12 (Roden kit) back to back so the undercarriage wells blend into each other. Wings are from the same kit as are the engines and the tail sections. The booms are made from elongated C-119 (Italeri kit) parts. To make it longer I glued two glue stick shells in it. They had exactly the right diameter...
Rear wing will also be taken from the C-119 kit. Cockpit is from the Airfix Fokker F27. It will be blended in like the Argosy. Earlier I was thinking about fitting the inner prop with double propellors like the Bear.

The Me-262 thingy is just the wing and nacelles fitted to an KP MiG-15 UTI fuselage as per radar interceptor avant la lettre. Thinking it was designed as the (Radar) hunter and needed a seperate killer (MiG-17 or -19?) But, i'm not satisfied with the nose cone. It's got the AV-8B nose cone, but think i'm goning to replace it with F-4 E/J nose cone (or whatever is in the spares box and looks OK). I'll post pictures next week. I'll be off to classic car races in Spa ( Belgium).
