Hi my What If brothers,

Just a note to tell you that my Spotted Dick Ki-100 is finished.

Piccies just as soon as I can.

I've carved a piece of plastic into the shape of a B-17 fin and cemented it to the tail of my little Mig 15. Gotta do some sanding next. Hate that.

Piccies of that one soon, too.

A good weekend to all.

Waiting happily... :)  It will be great, I am sure, brother.

Now see here, Tophe,

What IS this you've been saying about not liking wine and cheese???!!!

Here in Oz we can get some petty good cheese and some truly delicious wine at amazing prices.

Just the other day I bought a bottle of Riesling for A$3.95 and wonderful red is about the same.

How did this dislike of your's come about, exactly?

Please keep me informed.

Dear Allan,
I don't remember for my finding bad cheese & wine :( , but I remember for bananas :(  : being a child, I had a severe coughing once and had to take an awful syrup :( , with the medicine taste being hidden somehow by a very strong banana flavor  . Now, the smell of banana makes my brain connect to the awful taste of the syrup    and I vomit...
Out of the what-if model subject? No! My forthcoming book, at 60%-devoted to what-if models and currently being printed, includes this way a self psycho-analysis of my love for twin-boomers (JHM asked me, and told me that the answer was surprising and funny). This book includes your name, Allan  - do you remember our invention together? at

You are in my database to receive a free copy with a very precise address : Allan (what-if modeler), Canberra, Australia – No doubt the French postmen and postwomen will succeed on their part, selecting the right airplane among thousands, but I hope the Australian ones will be good too, to locate the right Allan among the 300,000 inhabitants of Canberra! (if you are not very sure, please send me an E-mail, dear...).
Thanks again,

PS. Does Oz mean Australia? I thought it might be the name of your province, but Canberra seems to be in the New South Wales, no?

Canberra is in the Austalian Capital Territories (ACT) and is one of the strangest places I have ever been.  An entire city of lawyers, politicians and journalists.......

Oh, and none of the roads go in the right direction.  What I mean is, you see off to your left where you want to be, so you turn left, but the road very cleverly doesn't take you to your left and you end up further away than when you started.... :dum:  But I've whinged about this before  B)

And yes, Oz is slang for Australia
