They sent me an email earlier to advise it was shipped - normally stuff from this bunch arrives the next day, but because it contains Dangerous Goods they advised it may take longer than normal.

Trust me, I want to share it as much as you want to see it!

To be fair, I'm guessing the postal service sees Testor's spraycan enamel as rather iffy...and no, it's not for the Mossie.

Spray cans are unpopular with airlines because, at altitude, the pressure differential between the inside of the can & the unpressurised cargo hold can get pretty high & a small flaw can make them go "Boom!". In bulk one flawed can can then cause a chain reaction by damaging the cans around it. Then, if nothing else, there can be a big mess to clean up.

Spray cans, yes.  But they do it with jars of paint.
I used to buy zero paints from the UK to paint my car builds.  Excellent stuff.  But then the Royal Mail decided not to handle paint and that was that.  Now I have to order it from Spain which is an extra complication, costs more and the range is limited.

My LHS couldn't get tins of Humbrol or WEM paints for years. Crazy.

Good news: paint etc arrived Saturday AM!

Bad news: more painting is needed, as well as canopy moulding. Will keep y'all posted.
