What will 6th generation (and beyond) manned fighters, if any, be like in the future? I realise various countries and militaries, particuarly the United States, is placing more emphasis on UCAV's (Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles) to patrol and defend the airspace. But I don't put a lot of faith in unmanned aircraft.   I have been, and forever will be, in support of manned fighter craft.

But what will such 6th generation "manned" fighters be like? Will they have:
a) Forward swept wings?
b) Still have gun systems? Or not?
c) Adaptive camouflage/cloaking technology?
d) Smaller, faster, and lighter weight "mini missiles"?
e) Extreme agility and maneuverability.
f) Endure greater G-forces. +9 and above.
g) Will pilots be able to handle greater G forces? What would flight suits of the future be like?
h) Cockpits with artificial intelligence control systems.
j) "Thought controlled" aircraft systems similar to what was seen in the movie Firefox.
k) Greater speeds. Mach 2.5-3 and above.
...........etc., etc., etc.

One of my favorite phrases is "Science Fiction has a tendency of becoming Science FACT.".
I often look at all the sci-fi and Japanese anime shows and I have to wonder: How cool would it be to have that? Will we ever see that kind of technology for real?
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.
