Nice site! I've found at least 8 more landing gear sets I'd like to get, too!

I've use 1/48 Catalina gear (Scale Aircraft Conversions which I buy direct from), which has to be slightly modified to suit the fuselage sides, which are almost vertical on a Sunderland (but tubular on a Catalina [well half a tube anyway]). Main wheels are from a Manchester, nose wheel from a Blenheim.  It will be turbo-propped too

Yes, Now I remember this build. Are you going with 4 engines or 2 powerful t-props? If 2, the extra engine bulges could be used to hold a searchlight and a radar system. I had an idea years ago for an upgraded Sunderland, and I was going to square off the tips of the main wings, and the vertical and horizontal stabilisers, makes it look a bit more modern.

Four 2000 hp Darts, I re-positioned the wings to be like how the prototype was, but then I had to move the cockpit forward (and downwards) so it was out of the propeller plane. Tail comes from a Bristol Freighter
