Well, I don't know about you, Kit, but I'd be happy to be standing 3 miles away from an aircraft fully fueled with 1,200* lbs of fuel crashing into a mountain. However, I'm not so sure I'd like to be that close to an aircraft carrying 1,200 lbs of fuel AND packed with 20,000* lbs of high explosives.
