background story : The rise of the communist party in Indonesia (Communist Party of Indonesia) drew Indonesia closer to the Eastern Bloc. Several Soviet-built aircraft began to arrive in the early 1960s but the coup attempt led by the 30 September Movement in 1965 changed everything and a new anti-communist regime from the Army. What if there is no coup attempt, and indonesian goverment still close to the eastern bloc. Indonesian Air Force order for more than 40 MiG-29 in 1980 while the aircraft was still in its initial development phase. Since its induction into the IAF in 1985.

What a cool boxing. That's the demo team we saw in London, Ontario back in the early 90s ! What a show. I'll have to keep an eye out for that.
