Hi Guys,
I've noticed on some helicopters and aircraft that they have a glass/plastic sun visor or window usually in green although other colours such as blue and yellow are used as well.
Is there a special modelers paint for this or what do you use instead?

Many thanks,
Steven

Just a standard Clear Red/Orange/Yellow/Green/Blue or suitable custom-mix of these.

Beyond model paints, there are clear window painting colors availibale at DIY or hobby stores - available either as an enamel or on water basis, even though the latter needs a truly fat-free surface - otherwise you get light spots when the paint dries up.

If you have any Future floor polish you can tint it with food colouring.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.
