I think I can remember reading somewhere, somewhen that this esteemed aeronautical establishment had initial design proposals for the MB6 and MB7.   Ah, yes, found it:-

Martin-Baker M.B.6 (1945): a Second World War jet fighter project with a swing-arm,  spring-loaded ejection seat.

Martin-Baker M.B.7 (1946) Black Bess: a  interceptor/high-speed test aircraft concept. Small flying models were made but the concept was cancelled in 1947.

Does anyone have any further data, and if so will we see a plethora** of MB creations taking over the display tables of Whiffworld?

For that matter, would anyone like to  approach totally unexplored territory and investigate the possibilities of the MB8, which may possibly have been an aircraft of high/low aspect ratio with 1/2 podded/buried engines for interdiction/interceptor/ trainer use?

**that's "quite a lot"

The Wooksta!

Martin Baker MB6:

Somewhere I have some Justo Miranda drawings in (I think) 72nd. Looks to be a Nene engine.

Personally, I'd start with a highly modified Attacker fuselage, Meteor engine intake and the Falcon MB5 wings as they don't have the cutout for the wheel wells.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
