A company called HBM do a resin early Manchester MkI nacelle conversion set HBM72000a.

Looked around, they seem to be rarer than the proverbial hen's teeth.

I'm fairly sure the guy who ran HBM frequents The Airfix Tribute Forum. He announced a year or so ago he has closed up shop, and he was selling various outstanding conversions he had in stock until all was gone.

OK, just checked, the guy' name is Robert Smith

The quality of HBM's casting leaves a great deal to be desired.  We're almost talking down to Unicrap levels of abysmalness. Really horrible resin.

Could you build the Avro Manchester with Napier Sabre or Bristol Centaurs instead?

The Wooksta!

Yes. One was built with Sabres but never flew.  Centaurus option was on the drawing board.

Another possibility is the Napier Eland which is available on the Revell or Airfix Fairey Rotodyne. I tried them out on a Shackleton but didn't look right. Maybe a Lancaster or Halifax or even a E-2 Hawkeye.
