Right I've done a search on Hannant's website and can't find anything (I normally don't have much luck when I search that site for some reason  :banghead:) so I thought I'd ask here as some of you may be able to help.

I'm after some post WWII Royal Auxiliary Air Force markings for a project, in reality I'd just want the squadron badges/crests. I'd prefer one of the County of London Squadrons but that's not vital. Also be nice if I could get them for the Vampire, but again not vital.

So does anyone know of an after market sheet which has them ? Or does anyone have a couple they don't need, the crests that is.

Model decal MD100 gets you 601 and 604Sqn in Vampire sized markings, no actual crest for either but the Sqn bars for either side of the roundel and 601's winged sword, and 604's scimitar both usually worn by the C.O.s airplane instead of a code letter.
MD101 another sheet to feature Vampires has 502, 605, 607, 612, 613 and 614 Sqn's from the R.Aux.A.F.
While Xtradecal X72191 features 604sqn R.Aux.A.F.
Mind at £4:00 each for MD100 and MD101 plus postage you can't go wrong  :thumbsup:
All available at Hannants, I just typed in Vampire and then ticked the boxes for 1/72 and decals ;D

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Some of the Modeldecal Meteor sheets majored on RAuxAF Squadrons IIRC.

I can't check my stock as I'm on a ferry in the middle of the Irish Sea just now......
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

BTW when I did this all that came up was a sheet for Spitfire F.22's !

I have Modeldecal sheet 101 with lots of RAuxAF Vampire options. The only bits missing are for 60 Sqdn, otherwise it's all there.
