Due to more and more skirmishes and full on battles in towns and villages, the Honduras army begged for a dedicated infantry support vehicle, and not the vulnerable armed trucks and cumbersome APC's they had. A company in Israel was contacted as they had dome several conversions for aircraft the air force operated, and drew up a formidable piece of kit, named the Hellcat. A vehicle was built and tested then sent to Honduras for evaluation, and very soon lived up to its reputation, as it was know as Hell on wheels by the Cartel. The vehicle was a completely new concept, and was of a hybrid propulsion. A diesel engine powered 6 electric motors built in to the hubs of the wheels, and the vehicle is steered by a skid steer system, that enables it to steer similarly to a tank, and be able to turn 360 degrees on the spot id need be, thus making it more nimble on tight streets. The vehicle is tall, to give a better field of view, is fitted with a retractable dozer blade, and built from composite materials and armour for lightness and speed. Armament consists of a .50 cal 6 barrelled Gatling gun, 60 mm grenade launcher, and a 30 mm bushmaster cannon. From the first day of operation the vehicle impressed many and struck fear in to more. The crew of two were sat in a safe and comfortable cabin, that was both cool and quiet due to the propulsion system and the luxurious air conditioning. This vehicle has been ordered  in great numbers as it will also serve on border checkpoints as well as in Urban areas.

Reminds me a bit of France's new Jaguar EBRC vehicle.

I thought you'd like it. ;) I'm actually a little skeptical of dedicated recon vehicles like that on a modern high intensity battlefield, but I think it's one of the best-looking new AFVs coming. In fact, I think that recon vehicles are some of the most attractive AFVs as a class.

Cheers,

Logan

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Excellent.  Is it amphibious?
This one isn't, but it can be fitted with a water jet propulsion system. This one spends it's time sniffing out insurgents in towns and villages.

That's a good one

Takes a little get used to the wheels being arranged like that without appearing to have any visible support
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

You are right there Chris, the wheels are actually attached to 1/35 scale tank suspension arms, source unknown as they were in a box of bits I got hold of. The wheels are resin replacements for something I can't remember as as I have had them more than a week .
The hull, and turret are Panzer IV  for the hull, which got all its detail cut and sanded out, M-1 hatches, and the Turret not sure but I think it is from a WW2 german tank.

Your kit-bash/ scratch does look a lot like that EBRC ! Nice one. very workman-like, the very thing you'd see produced in a pinch.

Cheers for the comments guys, this thing went together quite easily, except for the wheels, they needed some trimming and drilling of the hubs to get them to sit within the hull line, and kept falling off even with super glue, so had to pin them with brass rod too.
