But who said that happened in TomZ's world?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

In my world (at least in this particular one ;)) the Netherlands was allowed to stay neutral and the KLM flew with a mix of German and US aircraft.

How did I miss this one?  Well nice and suits those markings.

That's the 1990s tooling of the Civil Condor, although the later military transport boxing has better plastic that's less prone to warping.
