Same here... what a tough choice, had to start by checking the ones i felt that REALLY deserved to be voted and came up with 12... took me a bit to narrow that down to 3...  Great work from everyone!

We can't see the poll results after voting, unlike eg. in the 2017/2018 season GB poll.

It's an option the person who posts the poll can set, so it was my decision (AFAIK, there's no site policy on this).

My view is that showing the rolling results during the voting is only useful if somebody wants to vote for the most or least popular entry or otherwise vote 'tactically'. However 'tactical voting' shouldn't really be a factor in something like this. It's an aesthetic choice, on a leisure subject, with no prize at stake and no real-world consequences, therefore you should only be voting for the entries that you like the best, not the entries most or least likely to win. I think this gets the 'purest' result, goverened by what people actually like, rather than any other consideration. Actual entrants, and other people interested in the stats, will get to see them after the poll closes, so it's not like there's any information being ultimately witheld.

That's really the best way as a blind ballot, otherwise the voting can get distorted by either attracted to the front runners or trying to pep up the also ran's rather than an honest appraisal of the three build you prefer the most.

I must admit the number, range and quality of entries have been excellent this year and its been a well run and very popular GB.

Its worth remembering to keep the GB scope as broad and as open as possible to get member involved, too specific and restrictive a category can result in less engagement than others

There is of course, the perennial question of what the 'success' of a GB should be judged by: participation numbers or quality of entries. There have been some GBs which attracted a limited number of entries that still inspired interesting and valuable contributions.
