Looking for some advice about where to post a project

Hi everyone,

I got distracted about halfway through the Soviet group build by some rather nifty 28mm GI Joe miniatures. This ended up including vehicles, both 3D printed and kit-bashed form existing kits, and now also includes some toys in the form of plastic army men vehicles, a plane and helicopter from the Disney movie CARS, and expanded to include the likes of Action Force, Force Zed, SAS Force, and of course, the Red Shadows.

So seeing as it's a hodge-podge of kits, figures, 3D printings and toys, my initial thought was to put it in the current projects section, and not choose a subsection.

Option two is just divide everything up and put the minis in the minis, planes in planes, etc.

But I kinda like the idea of keeping it all together.

Advice appreciated.

I'd vote for the "root folder" of the current projects (ie. no subcategory defined). I mostly visit the airplanes section, so posting the figures and vehicles in their respective sections would mean I never saw them, which would make the GI Joe fan in me very disappointed.

Fandom notwithstanding, a thematic collection belongs together in a single thread in my opinion even if the individual works would be very diverse.

Right mate. Putting my moderators hat on I would suggest that you use the Figures, Cars etc sub-section or just start a separate stand alone thread.

At the end of the day it's what your comfortable with. I don't tend to move things in this section unless asked to, indeed I don't move much at all unless asked or I ask the posted if he's comfortable with it first.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
