Neat stuff. I OOB whiffed one in RCAF Air Div markings, a sort of lend-lease for using German airbases. Yours looks pretty wild Kit !

I'm afraid I'm out of the build. Managed to remove the top of my middle finger on my right hand. Nicely wrapped in a big bandage, still throbs. Makes modelling a little difficult.

Ouch, that can't be good. Rest up and let it repair itself.

The build thread, such as it is, is here :- http://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php/topic,23381.msg338774.html#msg338774

I second Kit's ouch.
That's my favourite finger.  I hope yours heals nicely.  How much did you take off and how did you do it?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Stupidity. Take one sharp blade and a sharpening stone. Settle down in glorious sunshine and bask in its glow thinking how every thing is right in the world. I have a tonne of sand delivered and on the front drive and I have cleared the garden. Now one swift swing of a blde will remove the only bush remaining in the garden. One sharp blade ... mind blissfully thinking ahead.... stone slips out of hand, fingers keep running down the blade... ouch.  Ok so may be not the greatess war wound ever but the blade proved its sharpness and I lost the fleshy bit 8x5mm, perfect oval off the finger pad. Sliced it right off clean as a whistle.  Probably the local foxes dinner (ok a snack) by now.

But did it bleed ? Oh yes torrents.; Didn't hurt (shock) but with in minutes a towel was sodden and I spent an hour over the bath with the hand pointing skyward waiting for the wife to comebackl from having her nails done (drool). Sympathy NIL, pain 100. Worry about me probably 1, worry over towel 100 (why did you use that towel ?)

Ho Hum.

Garden didn't get done. Model didn't get started. New life in the doghouse well and truly established.

Sorry to hear about your accident.
When I had a similar one long ago, the son of the friends where I was staying picked up my finger piece and offered it to the house cat.
And the cat refused ! That was quite annoying!  :banghead:
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

My first laugh in three days ! Only problem is the chuckling vibration has set the finger off throbbing again.

Hydrogen peroxide will take the blood right out of the towel. :)
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

Oh not much at all then in the grand scheme of thing.  I was imagining it being down to the first joint.
Don't worry, it'll grow back.  Don't ask me how I know.

Bet it was a white or light coloured towel as well and not one of the black, dark blue or maroon ones.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
