Awesome.  In the true meaning of the word.
Only thing I might have changed is the planking on the platform.  It looks a bit too careworn to me - brilliantly built but too shabby.
However, you have lighting and that's definitely something I can't do.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thanks for the honest feedback  I really do appreciate it
I admit, I did want the wooden planks to look weather beaten and not fresh. I even added a tiny bit of rust to the frame but it washed out unfortunately / fortunately (depending on your point of view)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I could go on, but you get the general idea.  I forsee this build getting Best Whiffie next year. ;)
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

a wonderful job and an exquisite result

I psted a link to this build in Michael Fichtenmayer's Industria Mechanika Builder group on
Facebook.

Michael sez:

"Tell him I said that he did a fantastic job on that. Love the BMF/Wood and that base is spectacular.
Too bad about the plug breaking for the lighting."

I suppose I am the last one to comment on your model, sorry  :banghead:
What a fantastic and unexpected model .
And the night photos are really STUNNING!
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

It's nice to know the creator of these kits takes such an interest in peoples take's on his creations. I really enjoyed this kit - it was easy to put together and had detail in all the right places. Well worth the money  ;D If I was to do it again, I would concentrate more on the cockpit but that would be it. Everything else went together beautifully

Please pass on my gratitude for the production of such a cool subject
