I have bought the vacform 1/72 Contrail
B-36D, I thought this was a bargain at £20.
However there are a few parts that appear to be missing or need to be scratch built.
The landing gear I can get from SAC, the propellers and tyres/ wheels are on my priority list.

Think I can manage to make moulds of the original ones and make resin wheels. Just give me some time to produce them..
As an instant alternative you can also have British styled wheels as i made moulds of the main wheels of an 1/48 Canberra for a B-36 project I plan to build one day. They fit and look right on a B-36, although some sanding is required to reduce the radius slightly...

Thanks for your reply, I have a lot of started builds to finish before I build the B-36.

Actually, B-52 wheels are very close to the B-36 main gear ones which you can buy. Click2Detail has the huge single wheel conversion (that's if their website is up-and-running, it's been on a ""re-build"" for some time now). And I think for the nose wheels, a couple of B-24 ones might work, I'd have to check that though.  Propellers will have to be cloned though ----
