Now that looks very nice. I have been thinking about dragging mine out of the stash and building it next, and seeing yours in all its splendour may just have prodded me to build it. I want to do mine in U.S Marine corps colours and markings as a what if  they didn't get the F-35??
Chris

Please do!

Nice work

I always thought that kit could be whiffed-up as an Iranian mock-up of their latest stealth fighter program.

Wow, this sounds awesome, too.

Surprised seeing a Shinden II here. If I ever get my mits on one, I would try to make an RAF one, like in the Master file book I got.

*if only I could read it though...*

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

Thanks for posting them links. That was a treat to stroll through and have a look.

It clicked with me today (after a faux pas in the Whiffie nomination thread) that the ASF-X Shinden II is actually an advanced development of the BAC Lightning, having 2 engines mounted one above the other! :o

Yup, double funny when the (In Story) plane was exported to the RN as well, where it was called the Lightning mk2 as well(might have to pull out the ol book on that to double check.)
