T-Tail!

Don't look, Baz! Don't look!!!  :P
Aw man!  I've really got to start doing text searches for "T-Tail."  I just saw this!
Fantastic.  I think what I love about T-Tails is the way they automatically make something look more modern.

With the combination of the sharper nose, all you would need (as suggested by others) would be turboprops and you'd have a completely modern looking craft.

BTW, that company "Engines and Things" just happens to be in a small town adjacent to my own city!

Next weekend, if work can leave me alone, I plan on molding a whole collection of 1:72 turboprop engine nacelles from at least some of the following kits:
- CL-415 (Heller)
- E2C Hawkeye (Fujimi or Lee)
- P3 Orion (Hasegawa)
- Shinmeiwa (Hasegawa)

If the resulting castings are any good, I'll post pics of them here.

And if they are good, will you be willing to sell them...

With a discount for What-Iffers, of course. Otherwise, the materials cost alone makes it likely cheaper to pick up the whole Heller re-kit of the Fujimi, unfortunately.

Mold rubber and resin has become ridiculously expensive!

Are these Monogram 1/72 Tigercats?

What is the address, phone, e-mail and web site for this hobby shop?  If they have Tigercats in stock, I may purchase a few!!
