The Supermarine Seafang was the carrier-borne variant of the unsuccessful Spiteful. Unfortunately, even the Royal Navy were looking towards the jet age.
Trumpeter 1/48 Seafang Mk32, done in one of the kit options, with Suez stripes (highly unlikely that it would still have been in service, but it's a what if!)
I added the rockets and bombs from the spares box.

Nice
Although I think I prefer the RAF version with the smaller carburetor intake, the extended intake makes the nose look too bulky IMHO.
And it always looks Like the cockpit is set too far back.
I'm sure there was a Spiteful correction thread somewhere on the web? Britmodeller maybe?

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I'm aware there are faults with the kit's accuracy, it is Trumpeter after all! lol  Iirc, the wing is too far forward.  Whatever it is, I agree, it looks a bit ungainly.

Beautiful planes both. The first thing I thought when I saw the photos was that the cockpit was far back. For a whif I'd have put it even more back, like a GeeBee.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

That looks really good!

Very nice build , I always thought black and white Korean strips would be more suitable , don't know why Trumpeter picked Suez stripes . I posted a
correction for the wing position on Britmodeller but Photobucket deleted the photos so basically useless now .
