Captain Canada

Decided to change the demarcation line in the above pic. It just didn't look right following the canopy line at the back, as it angled up and then went straight...so I moved it down one panel line and I think it looks a lot better !

And yes that radar pod is probably from a Helldiver now I think about it

It's funny how you remember things. I have an old Matchbox Helldiver in the 'box of old finished kits', that I probably built late 80s early 90s, so that pod has been sitting around since then. It's molded in dark grey. When was the last time you have seen a kit molded in that colour ? Used to love tose old Matchbox kits....

Matchbox used to use some odd colour combinations that's for sure  Made some interesting stuff though. Always liked their armour, I was still wargaming then, and had quite a collection

The tail wheel extension to clear the bombs is from a Harrier. Looking at the pic now I should have removed the other wheel and made a wee fairing for this to retract in to

That does look suitably lethal, and I'm not surprised it needs those JATO bottles to take-off!

Nice one Cap'n.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Damn man, that looks so cool!! I love it.      Huge fan of the colors going on here... the light underside and the nice blue spinner.. and it goes so well with the camo!

Did it really take you 4 years to borrow a camera though?!?!!?  ;D

The tailwheel solution is inspired.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I like that Capt  The colour scheme in particular is really well done.

Why do the "flying bombs" have such long bodies/tails ?
