Thanks for the response guys. Guns are still located in the wing but more inboard, in front of the wheel wells. Hope to finish this as a Royal Navy machine, EDSG over white.

Lovely idea, plenty of room in that slab of a wing for the mechanism but shift the guns...they'll play havoc with the pivots. WATCHING

I think I bought this very model the other day too, just for sh*ts and giggles. For just 6 and something euros it wasn't a risky purchase.
Opening the box I saw what I already was suspecting was true: I have seldom seen thicker plastic than this model. You almost need an angle grinder to get through! (-;
It looks like a very very old mould now reused by some Polish manufacturer. Presumably a Frog-reboxing. Very good for a kitbash / whif treatment.

I think this is based on the Airfix 1/48 kit, which, by comparison, is a dream come true.  Detail and fit is perfect.  I have one on the go at the moment.
