I couldn't get there today as public transport is my only means of getting there. Even though I am only 20 mins away I struggled to find buses and trains to get me there and back without taking all day about it. That's another one missed, this time though due to me still being on crutches an unable to drive yet.

It looks like the show was very heavy on sci-fi, fantasy and whiff models. Or was that just the vid-makers preference?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Bit of both I think. If I remember our conversation correctly, he's not a currently active modeller but liked doing it when he was a kid. He came to the show because his YT channel's 'mission' is to film anything interesting that he comes across. Given that, it's possible that the sci-fi and film stuff caught his attention more because he recognised it from the movies.

There's a review of the show in March's SAM (received today) and I must say that the venue looks far, far better than the one I remember.

I didn't think "Young Nick" was going ? Only there's a fellow who looks remarkably like him in one of the photos ?
