You know, I saw this and thought of An Officer and A Gentleman which has scenes on gun emplacements like that. I wasn't far off as these guns are pointing directly across the water at Fort Worden where the actual filming took place. There's even a ferry linking the two forts.

Yep, Worden, Casey and Flagler on Marrowstone Island were the Triangle of Fire at the mouth
of Admiralty Inlet designed to defend the entrance to Puget Sound. All three are fun to walk around,
it is a pity that they don't have any 12" mortars mounted in the mortar pits.
