This PM Models Ta-183 has been lurking at the back of my workbench for at least 2 years, waiting for inspiration as to an end user. Ferreting through my spare decals box, I discovered some very basic East German diamonds, although they lack the Compass and Sickle in the centre, and I thought why not? I know the Luftstreitkräfte der Nationalen Volksarmee [LSK] did not come into being until 1956 when the DDR joined the Warsaw Pact, but why not have it start a few years earlier with Luft'46 equipment? And it sits quite nicely with my alternative Tu-4 Bear ;D

I like the thought process and she suits those markings rather well
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Pretty cool there!!!  Sometimes I don't know what to make of this airplane. I love T-tails and that helps but it's such an odd little feller at the end of the day.   ;D

I like this treatment;  always been a fan of them roundels, too. Looks great!
