If you want to display it properly, just display it stuck in a river.  It won't be powerful enough to drag itself out once it enters...   :banghead:

The correct way to display one of these is to put it on the floor and have a 1/72nd Lancaster dropping a Tallboy on it from scale height...

Think about "Showroom" rather than diorama...

I just got mine straight from Modelcollect.

This kit is huge!  Lots and lots and lots of parts!  It'll build up into something entirely absurd.  One thing I noticed right off the bat however, is the main gun turret.  It's the one they created for their Gneisenau shore battery kit.  That means it's a three gun turret and not the two gun turret specified for the Ratte.  Never fear as Modelcollect includes a blanking plate for the middle gun port.  Well, I think that when I set to making this I'll be doing a bit more than just blanking that out.  More like shaving and sanding that detail away so that it all matches and looks like a two gun turret from the start.

Aside from that?  It looks excellent.  Very cleanly moulded and well engineered.  This'll be a right monster to build up!
Wherever you go, there you are!

Mine arrived last night.

yeah its a big bugger! and not a quick build when you look at the running gear and countless individule track links that will need putting togeather.
I always hope for the best.

Well the running gear does work after all !!! :-\

Be interesting to see if somebody does an interior as its more likely to be like a ship than a tank with a control room, a comms room, Armoury, engine room, galley and cabins !!!
