PV-1 Ventura Revell 1/48 +Eduard+Master - REAL ONE :)

Finally! Ventura lands on shelf after looong build. Painted as usual by Gunze and Tamiya. Eduard set was used in cockpit, gun barrels are from Master. Weathered with AMMO oilbrushers and Tamiya washes. I'm not pleased with green corrections of octopus decal but at last I've learned something :)

Very nice!!!!   The Sea Monster is a hoot. I have one, probably the same starting kit, that has it but it's all wrong... too many arms (or was it not enough?) and wrong shapes, etc. Yours looks better!! May have gave you problems but seems worth it in the end.

Paint job does look good, too. Gotta love the Navy tri color.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
