Blue Streak was a medium range ballistic missile.  I was wondering if anybody knows where I can find a scale plan for this missile?   There doesn't appear to be one online.

I may have some Blue Streak data.....somewhere...... from an exhibition in Tullie House museum in Carlisle; or I think that  the Solway Aviation Museum at Carlisle airport has a Blue Streak archive.

Why Carlisle?  The Spadeadam test range is fairly close;  some of us can even remember seeing the clouds of steam from test runs.  The view from my bedroom window had the test stands faintly visible on the horizon.  The link below might help too.  It's worth exploring the whole site, the data on rocket silos is unexpected.

Interesting but no scale drawings!   :banghead:

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

This may be helpful if you want to build a model, 1/96 Blue Streak Paper Model if you print out on A4 paper:
http://www.nielspapermodels.com/bluestreak.htm

I used a photocopier to scale it to 1/72 and 1/144 with the idea of building a model.  As always, I never got around to it!

The book 'A vertical empire' has some drawings. No dimensioned ones of Blue Streak, but several of its derivations (Blue Streak +.Centaur, Europa).

The author CN Hill  has a website, spaceuk and those two are on it, Brian will be able to scale them from published data:

I do have some drawings of the K11 silo that I requested from C.N. Hill, the books author.  Blue Streak is present on the sections, along with dimensions of the launcher.  I can't access them at moment due to the photobucket problems, I'll try and find the originals and get around to finding a decent hosting site.  There are a couple of low-res pic on the website, along with dimensions of the silo:

Blue Streak is now available from Shapeways, in 1/144 and 1/72. I've bought the 1/144 version:

Had a good look through that, thanks Harro. I need one of the small Blue Streaks.

Found a 1/125 Europa too:

I considered buying it, but the engine section of that Europa is just a bit too coarse for me.
