That's good news Trevor, you'll need a Social Secretary now so we can make appointments to chat to you.  ;D ;)

as in the manner I did at Warley MRE one year Kit, I will feel the need to buy you a brew at SMW so we can talk.... ;)

JayBee

That will be a cheap round.

My only other point is that I use a 1/1 modelling bench, I do not think I could manage a 1/72 one.
Alle kunst ist umsunst wenn ein engel auf das zundloch brunzt!!

Sic biscuitus disintegratum!

Cats are not real.
They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

I'd definitely be up for that Trevor.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

hmm, a very good SMW2017 for me and a big thanks to all and everyone who congratulated me on my award from Warwick.

especially nice to talk with Narses2, Gondor and Ed S.

Nick behaved himself and next time may even get to try the whiskey I bought along and he looked after.  :-X

Well that was the weekend that was - visiting Model Rail Scotland 2018. And very nice it was too. See my latest stash report for what happened there but what is happening on my model bench given i have vacated it since last friday morning.

A Valom Buckmaster is being painted up. it was going to be in IDF/AF colors as their DH Mosquitos wore but i have revised this to an RAF Middle East finish of dark earth and stone with a white cockpit area. it has fought me all the way i'll say! but i wasn't going to let the carpet monster beat me though he tried pinching the wheels, gave up when i said that i have a set of spares [from another kit].

A Revell Shackleton AEW is/has been hacked about with to get a Shackleton ASR5. off came the radome and most of the bits from a Shackleton Trainer are being added to the kit. it as been a lot of hard work but will pay off in the end. i am just supposing in the wake of HMG deciding not withdraw East of Suez a squadron of Shack's was retained, overhauled and as a series of detached flights was given ASR duties in the Far East from places like Gan and Seletar. it will be finished in hemp.

Continuing Martin H's theme of alternate RAF F-4s i have two in progress for which i have just started painting the final colors of Dark Grey and Dark Green with LAG undersides. One will be a 2 Sqn RF-4 and the other a 43 Sqn F-4E, neither option of which i think he has done - yet!  ;D

also providing some mirth is a Pakistani AF Chinese JF-17 in all-over grey.
