Quick and dirty drawing in order to give some idea.

Models 1/96 Lancaster from Frog (I think) and a very obscure (and vile) 1/120 B-29 IDEA model (revell produced this too).

Wonderfull! love it already! please continue...I'm also planning to do a "slighty altered" Lancaster.

The Wooksta!

You'd be much better going for a fin similar to that of an Avro Tudor.  At least it'd have an Avro design profile.

Is it called the Blackpool because it has a great towering tail?

The mid-upper gun turret will be mounted on a VERY tall nest of girders so that it can fire over the tip of that monster fin............  ;D ;)

Another option could be to have a couple of staggered and offset turrets so that each has their own arc of fire on either side of the fin.

Completely off topic, but I just added Stop The Pigeon to my list of GB ideas for next years vote.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
