Interesting Dizzy.

One of the things I find fascinating about your build/completion rate is that you would appear to exclusively use enamels ? I think I am far to generous with the drying time I allow my acrylics  :banghead:

Well, I use acrylics, too, but I just work directly with brushes, no airbrushes. This might save some time, too, since there's no frequent masking involved? But most enamals I use (Humbrol, Modelmaster) dry up quite quickly, and if there are longer curing times I try to allow generous "dead time" (over night, or over the day) before I get back to the work bench.

NARSES2

I'm a brush painter as well Dizzy and quite happy with it.

I think I just allow far to much drying time. I also want to try and be a little more organised. The forthcoming One Week GB will be a trial for my new "methods"

I want to fly it. It looks so right! I'm sorry for resurrecting an old thread but I just had to compliment you. I love it!

Cracking idea an execution, I missed this the first time around to thanks to KiwiZac for pinging it.

Quick note to your back-story though; it wouldn't have been offered to [ Southern ] Rhodesia since the UK-sponsored UN arms embargo came into force in December 1966.  And Northern Rhodesia had become Zambia in 1964.

Other than that, carry on!

This is WhiffWorld, any RW 'history' is not applicable...........  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I love this; I had to take a second look to work out what had been WHIF'ed about it. When I read you description of what had done with it was impressed, because as everyone else has said, it looks so right!
Brilliant work as always, and inspiring too! I'd love to do something similar in 48th :D
