The first one's like a modern day version of the Savoia Marchetti S.65.

Amazingly I have a kit of the S.65 but I'm scared to even THINK about building it!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards

I came up with a similar idea myself, but mine had a single float supporting a T-tail and retractable tip floats. Radiators in the float strut with variable exhaust flaps to give a little thrust (P-61 style), fuel in the float, 4 x 20mm in the wings just outboard of the prop disc and ammo boxes inboard of them.

I suspect this artwork is of a couple of the Speedbirds machines, but I don't see it in the thread, so here goes:

...

The artist seems to be called 'Shelbs' (?)

I got them from, believe it or not, a wind turbine blog where they were posted as 'inspiration': http://customwind.blogspot.com/2014/11/vintage-racing-float-plane-inspiration.html
Or designs with Schneider Trophy inspiration.
That "shelbs" guy used to post pictures on Deviantart: https://www.deviantart.com/shelbs2/gallery/24662709/3D-Designs . I don't think he does it any longer.
