This isn't a new idea but with the new Airfix Avro Shackleton kits and the Revell AEW.2 example the cockpit interior can be improved on the MR.3, as well as the wings, landing gear and engines.
The MR.3 needs to be stripped of all maritime equipment.
I have flattened the nose and removed the retractable radar bin housing. I'm in the processes of filling in the windows along both fuselages.
My first thought was to use a decal sheet for the new round windows,
second option is the paper circles from a hole punch or use a drill bit.
After I have sanded most of the rivets flat.
On the real aircraft the wing spars would hinder the interior space for an all seater version but if it was a freighter/ cargo with limited seats the problem would be solved. As cargo doors can be scribed and additional passenger doors along the fuselage.
Different engines can be used either two or four.
I might opt for the triple in another build.
