Before my dear lady throws ANYTHING away, she asks if it can be used at all for modelling purposes.
I've just acquired some Christmas Tree Chocolate packaging with interesting clear plastic shapes, one of which will be ideal for my carrier-launched Chieftain Tank.
Just been waiting for such an accessory to turn up!

Ok... I've read that three times now and I'm still not sure I understand.
Getting back into modeling

Take a Chieftain Tank, add a tremendous amount of extras in the form of fuel tanks, flotation bags, a Sidewinder (from an old F-104 1/32nd kit) and paint it in a great low-viz grey scheme, all weathered and tatty like the USN/USMC.
Add RN markings.
The Chieftain tank is fying (hence the canards) in the ground support role. The big gun works wonders on the opposition.
The launch.....catapult of course....is spectacular, but the landing is difficult.
One carrier was sunk when the Chieftain came in too steep and went "straight through".
MADNESS, PURE MADNESS.
But amusing.
An ongoing project......like we all have.
