Hi Colin

I was just looking at the Wiki page for the Mk.7 nuclear bomb, which you make a very nice model of, and noticed a link to BOAR:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BOAR

This was a very crude rocket-boosted version of the Mk.7 intended to give more stand-off protection for low-performance carrier-based aircraft like the Skyraider when toss-bombing nukes. I'd heard of such things as projects, but this one was actually operational from 1956 to 1963. :o

It looks like a relatively simple modification to the Mk.7 shape, with a cropped tail cone for the rocket and four symmetrical tail fins. It would partner nicely with your Mk.7, and appeal to both whiffers and real-world modellers since it's a real, but little-known weapon.

Thanks for the suggestion Weaver, I'll have a word with Mr Lucas about it!

While you're at it, you might want to include the HOPI rocket... also used on the Skyraider... The link is on the same Wiki page as the BOAR.
