That thing is slick!!

They also made some other new additions recently... a Vampire, Mustang, and some other stuff. All slightly tweaked in some way to make them "not the same" as the originals.

My only gripe is they all cost a lot to purchase!

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

But only half-heartedly - it lacks the tail station and a glazed navigator seat in the nose.  ;)
Would be a cool whif, though, or a Cold War GB entry...

This is Grand Theft Auto, can't you just steal them?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

You'd think!!!   ;D ;D  There are even certain CARS that you can't steal. Take it to the chop shop and they're like, "whoa, sorry, this is too hot for us!!"

They gotta sell that digital money, though! I don't gripe because they add tons of DLC on a regular basis for a game that is 5 years old now and never charge for it. That said, if you wan't to buy certain items you better have a lot of cash. Some people do have a lot of cash just from playing a lot but also lot of people have to(choose to) buy in game money with real money and Rockstar makes mad profit.

Oh OK.  I haven't played anything after San Andreas.  I've finished all the missions but I can spend hours happily pootling around stealing things, shooting stuff up, getting chased by the cops...

I play some games on my phone but I flat out refuse to give them any real money.

It's pretty cool, if you ever get a chance to do the same in GTAV, go for it. As fun as ever!!

As far as things like the planes.... there are tons you can steal but a lot of the stuff like the bombers and high dollar planes that you purchase you call a porter service and they deliver it to the nearest airfield when you want to use it. Recently, they added the ability to buy hangars, though, and you can store your planes in there (even ones you go out and steal) and even mod them, etc. I rarely play any more so haven't been messing with this but it sounds like a lot of fun... essentially owning your own air force and air port!!

Hell, they've been adding all kinds of crazy stuff lately.... there's a DeLoreon you can buy that is a flying car like in Back to the Future.... they have submarines, you can buy a yacht and land helos on it and live in it.... tanks, anti-aircraft batteries, mobile command semi trucks, all sorts of Mad Max vehicles.... armored cars, technicals, on and on and on.....

I came across an interesting article from World of Warships https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/history/naval-aviation-2/ with some tips on how to do a plane/floatplane conversion and principles they employed to whiff some designs to life into the game, albeit a bit late for the Floats GB. :)

Some noteworthy ideas are a FW 190D and a P-40:

OOoooh.....  I love that P-40. Want to call it a SEAHAWK.

And it could be easily realized with a Pegasus P-40Q and a Smer Curtiss SC-1 in 1:72.

Love the FW and the TA in the earlier email

zenrat

Hmmm.  I thought something similar could be knocked up with a Rufe float but it'd be too small as a P40 is a ton heavier than a Zero.

That P-40 does look very nice
