From a good friend as a Christmas-Birthday pressie, 'The Buccaneer Boys' by Air Commodore Graham Pitchfork, 220 odd pages of '....they did WHAT?'

Which sounds as interesting... I know what I'm borrowing soon, then.

Michael Palin's  EREBUS; exploration of the Antarctic and, later, the Franklin expedition to the Arctic.  A Christmas present, I've just finished reading it and can HIGHLY recommend it!
