From a good friend as a Christmas-Birthday pressie, 'The Buccaneer Boys' by Air Commodore Graham Pitchfork, 220 odd pages of '....they did WHAT?'  :o :o

Well recommended.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Rick Lowe

They don't have that in our local library (YET...), but there's another by him that sounds interesting:

Shot down and on the run : true stories of the RAF and Commonwealth aircrews of WWII

Which sounds as interesting... I know what I'm borrowing soon, then.

Thanks for the heads-up, Kit

French Secret Projects 1 - Post-War jet Fighters by J.C.Carbonel

Noticed it going for a very reasonable price on Amazon so I snapped one up.
