The 188 was a Bristol design and quite separate from the Gloster family.

the drawings all come from the 2nd Edition of 'Gloster Aircraft Since 1917' by Derek N. James, Putnam 1987. The book gives no data beyond the captions.

Found some info on the delta-wing Meteor, P.262, in 'The Gloster Meteor', Shacklady, Doubleday 1963.

Wingspan: 43'
Length: 44.5'
Height: 8.6'
Max speed: 565 mph at sea level
Combat radius: 675 miles w/drop tanks
