Just some shots of the De Havilland Heron that has been mounted outside Croydon Air Terminal for decades. I was there for an open day in January where you get to go round the Terminal Museum. Good way to spend an afternoon

Somebody needs to get up there with a brush and clean off that green stain. I think there is a typical lack of volunteers and funding for a suitable cherry-picker.

Yup the January Air Fair is always a good event and as Nick says you get to see Terminal Museum where the whole idea on modern civilian air traffic control was invented back in the early 20's.

My dad had a part time job collecting the fares on the Air Jersey coach that ran the passengers down from East Croydon station to the Airport in the 50's.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
