I see a 4th definition now, for TWIN-BOOM:
IV- aircraft with 2 booms holding tail(s) OR linking lift-areas

A friend told me that in Arabic, "twin-boom" was translated by a word meaning "Looks like 2 tails". This is another definition, but the Bf 110/F-18 could be included as well as the three-surface planes having a tail first (canard) and a tail aft. That confirms that my personal definition is different, special, as one possibility among so many...
