The Wooksta!

Not quite finished - needs a few aerials, the wheels need touching up and the canopy needs the side blister panels - but here's a photo of the Lancastrian C.6 as she stands.

A darn good looking elephant, that's for sure.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thats nice
must admit i´d been thinking much along those lines too. Sort of interim/cheaper addition to the Shackleton fleet?
Merlin 85`s with four bladed props, and streamlined nose and tail fairings but with transparent ends for
observation purposes, and the H2S radome repurposed to house the ASV radar, which i believe was a modified H2S set anyway.
might be doable using the Lancastrian nose and tail fairings to smash mold the clear parts?

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Oh nice one!

I too have a number of thoughts along these lines...

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Rat

Definitely a 'should have been'. It just looks so natural!

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.
