Just over a week to go, hopefully the weather will be a tad better for travelling

I'm looking forward to this too!

Any news on the parking as apparently the sports centre car park is used for Car Boots on a Sunday which may complicate matters for Traders, Exhibitors and the Public ?

Hi Thorvic,
yes, there's a car boot on on Sunday until 13:00 / 1 P.M. and it will cut down on available parking.
Sainsburys, ajacent to the site have been approached, that was a non-starter, though you do get two hours free,
BUT, the parking is rigid and you used to have to have a Sainsburys till receipt to exit the car park, not worth the hastle.
There are a number of 'low cost' car parks around Halifax centre, just hope the rain holds off for unloading.
Traders have been given the OK to set up on Saturday evening, so the pressure is off there.

Think we've all heard the rumours about the who, what and why for the move, I don't know, as it's nowt to do with me!
What I will say is a 'Well Done' to the guys who organise things and I think they'll be more than grateful for the support
from the modelling community at the new venue, so just because some will have to walk a little further, don't give up on the show,
REMEMBER....you could, quite easily, have been roped in by SWMBO to go shopping on the Sunday!

Looking at the car parking there is a lot of choice depending on how far you want to walk.

Broad Street Plaza shopping centre seems to be the nearest all day large car park https://www.apcoa.co.uk/parking/halifax/broad-street-plaza/

There are plenty of on-street spaces around town at 50p an hour - FREE on Sundays!

I was planning to go but the car is poorly, can't risk the journey and I'll probably need the cash I was going to spend.  Have fun.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Enjoyable day even if I didn't buy any kits. Mind you got the tools and other bits and bobs I was after.

Good to see everyone, sorry you couldn't make it Mossie.

Me too Chris, would have been good see you all.  We're going to make the decision tomorrow whether to get a new car or not, it's not a serious problem but it's at the age where it's costing us regularly.
