A great build and a surprisingly elegant aircraft.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition!

Hmmm, I like that a LOT!

Plus points are the anhedral wing tips, they say 'We had trouble with Dutch Roll, but sorted it' and the undercarriage. That says 'An excellent project comrade, but where will you put the wheels?'  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The La.200 landing gear is almost identical. (If it works, use & re-use until it doesn't!)

Almost elegant, in a slightly odd way.
Has a life outside of What-If & wishes it would stop interfering!

That looks very neat and tidy. You can just imagine a bunch of captured German engineers working to get this flying in the Soviet Union.

That came out great! The single, forward cockpit really improves the look of the plane and the plain gray really compliments the shape. Although, by law, all Soviet jets must have wing fences! Maybe this was just after roll out and the German engineers didn't know about the law...

l can see that as a grainy b+w image in an Observers book on Soviet aircraft since 1950.

Whatever.

Thank you gents.

It is surprisingly elegant which I think is down to the simple overall paint scheme and minimal markings.
