there was some good stuff on display there. My favorite is the Discworld model

Agreed!

Is that Granny Weatherwax & Nanny Ogg buzzing around the top?

Yes, indeed. The model was on the Airfix Tribute SIG stand, and the builder explained that it qualified to be there only because the two witches were modified from Airfix pilot figures... ;D

The Arizona turret is fantastic  but I do really like the Discworld model especially A'Tuin

That has to be the smallest Whiff SIG stand I've ever seen!  :o

A nice varied display though, all the same.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It was the same deal for everyone: the venue's not ideal because it's a mixture of oddly-shaped small-to-medium sized rooms and corridors, so stands were either small and square (like ours), or long and thin in corridors. I think I'm right in saying that this is a temporary venue while they sort out a new home for the show.

You did well setting out the Whiff stand.  A lot of the others look far too crowded.

The Discworld is missing its sun which should orbit over the top and then pass underneath Great A'Tuin.  It's a great build nethertheless.

The guy sitting behind the Arizona turret is wearing my shirt.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

You can get away with it in Aus (you want to see some of my holiday shirts ), but in Stoke on Trent ?  ;)

It's a genuine Hawaiian Shirt.  It has the three signs - made in Hawaii from cotton, pattern is aligned on the pocket and the buttons are carved from coconut.

Got a couple of those and loads of "Crazy Shirts" T's from my trips to the Islands.
