QuoteThe migration seems to have messed with the alternative text symbols somewhat. :o
Yes, it was supposed to be "scene" with an accent grave... zut alors...

Almost anything looks good in IAF roundels, this especially so. Would be cool to see some Cessna A-37/T-37 Dragonfly/Tweetybirds in IAF markings, Thomas. ;)
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

That looks absolutely gorgeous! That camo works superbly for Ireland.
Ireland having those would be a good support for their UN peacekeeping roles abroad.

One point, if I may?
Baldonnel looks nothing like the photos you have. There are no Hardened Shelters or large hills in the distance. It does have 1930s RAF hangars with Belfast struss like those at Duxford, and is surrounded by flat fields. Unless your background story says otherwise.....  ;)

You may - backgrounds are for illustration only. It is utterly rare that I actually find a background that shows the respective setting, e. g. as exact as the specified air base in the title. Good shots for this purpose (motiv, light, perspective) are just VERY hard to get.

Now there's an idea for a business venture - take and sell photos of airfields for background model photos.

Clearly these Irish Provost shots were taken at a USAF base like Upper Heyford during an airshow  ;)

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
