All the gear retracts, as for the folding nose gear on the ground, I reckon your thinking of the Rutan Vari Eze...

You're right, I am.  :-\

Ignore my previous post.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

What all y'all said.  I just don't know why LS didn't include them.   ;D  :o

Mr. H. That would do nicely!!! A metal pilot might/probably work (he sits pretty close over those main gear) ... I don't think anything short of that would be massive (heavy) enough. Would be worth a shot, -  I think I figured that if I do it before I close the halves up, that a single BB or a small piece of lead would fit behind the dial panel but that wouldn't even touch the weight problem.

And thanks... it turned out better than I was expecting.

EDIT: Also not included is that little intake bit there on the bottom.

:-\ Ahem, your words are surprising: Realist modellers may blame the lack of some Real parts, but for what-ifers such invention could be welcome, no? ;D
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Hell, I thought it was great because I didn't have to mess with and get to blame the lack of doors on the kit maker instead of the carpet monster for a change.  ;D ;D ;D ;D
